Mr Tom James

Tom joined the Collegiate in August 2017 and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer in September 2022. Tom heads up a central finance team who are committed to working collaboratively to deliver the best possible finance services to our academies. Tom provides clear and concise information to stakeholders to enable them to make well informed decisions for the benefit of educational standards. Tom takes great pride in helping the academies to achieve efficiencies and to improve the quality of their resources.

Previously Tom trained as an auditor for five years, initially at RSM UK LLP and latterly Dains LLP. This provided Tom with strong analytical skills, broad knowledge of statutory reporting and thorough understanding of internal controls and processes.
